What engineering work it implies
Sample acceptance criteria Landfall generates for this obligation:
- A designated video-sharing platform service provider (a named service designated by the Commission under the Act and listed on its published register, Code ss 2.2-2.3) whose terms and conditions do not preclude the uploading or sharing of adult-only video content MUST establish an easy-to-use content rating system allowing users who upload user-generated videos to rate such content as not suitable for children because it is adult-only, and to tag it accordingly so that users viewing it are aware (para 12.11; Part A para 10.6(g)). The terms MUST require uploaders of adult-only content to rate it (para 12.2(b)) and not to circumvent the rating obligation (para 12.4). The Code requires an adult-only flag with a visible tag on uploads, not age bands or use of ratings in recommendation.
- Confirm service and terms scope; make the adult-only rating system usable and test its operation. Do not attribute a generic recommendation-engine or all-content age-classification mandate to this provision. The Code's rating is a binary adult-only flag with a visible tag (para 12.11); the para 12.2(b) term must require uploaders to use it, and para 12.4 must bar circumventing it.
- Record the assessed scope, evidence and unresolved questions; completing this task is not a legal compliance determination.
